No elevator access made lugging suitcases upstairs a hassle!!! Wi-Fi nonfunctional during my stay created a major inconvenience!!! Refrigerator in the room didn’t work, and front desk offered no solution!!!

This place was just a perfect match for a weekend break in Oskaloosa with best value. They let us check in early and even offered us coffee before our trip. Requesting a ground floor room will save you some hassle.

What a charmingly quaint place! The bathroom sink water was only tepid at best, and that metal-bed noise could wake the dead. I almost left a glowing review until I realized a room upgrade for my troubles was too much to ask. How hard can it be to treat someone like a VIP?

The newly remodeled room was very nice with very nice water pressure in the shower. I felt at home during my stay.

Request a room on the ground floor to avoid the hassle of stairs, especially as there's no elevator.

The air conditioning unit didn’t function well, leading to a restless night. Moreover, the bathroom sink water barely reached a warm temperature, which was quite disappointing. To make matters worse, I felt rushed during check-out when the front desk called me at 11 am, despite the hotel not being fully booked.

The room had chilly air conditioning. the bed was very squeaky during our stay.

I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the vending machines were super convenient. The pool was a nice way to unwind after a busy day, and the fitness center had plenty of options to help me stay on track. One little thing was that the towels could be updated, but that didn’t take away from my overall experience! 😊

I enjoyed my 2-night stay in the queen room. Breakfast had delicious options, if a bit early on cleaning up. The air conditioning was functional, though I needed to adjust it for comfort. Future guests might prefer a room with carpeting for a cozier feel.

I absolutely loved my newly remodeled King Room! The shower had incredible water pressure, and I never ran out of hot water. Plus, the elongated toilet had a nice handicap height. it felt so thoughtfully designed.

I enjoyed my 2-night stay in the Queen Room. The breakfast included delicious options like fresh yogurt, fruits, and biscuits with gravy that made mornings enjoyable. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, which is always a plus. However, I faced issues with the air conditioning unit. it didn't work well and required constant adjustment to maintain comfort. Another downside was having to carry my luggage up the stairs since there was no elevator. The staff were accommodating, but the lack of Wi-Fi during my stay really complicated things. I was hoping for a better experience overall, especially with the price I paid.
